    Monday meeting
    KEY ACTION  Approved $16,000 in additional appropriations for the 2013 budget.
    DISCUSSION  The additions include $5,000 toward improvements to the former Recreation Department building to house the Police Department, $8,350 toward wages and benefits in the water and sewer funds, and $2,600 toward the building code enforcement fund.
    OTHER ACTION  
    • Authorized City Manager Thomas Ault to sell at public auction beginning at 10 a.m. May 18 assets no longer needed by the city, including a fire truck, police cruisers, cars and a plow truck.
    • Prior to the meeting, council attended an Energy Drive street and bridge dedication to connect state Route 44 with Beck Avenue NE through the land being developed by Chesapeake Oil Co.
