  • Two Stark County men have been sentenced to federal prison after being convicted on child pornography charges, according to the U.S. Attorney’s office in Cleveland.
David Mariner, 55, of North Canton, was sentenced Tuesday to serve eight years and one month during a hearing in U.S. District Court in Youngstown. Once out, he’ll be on supervised release for 10 years.
Mariner pleaded guilty in March to receipt/distribution of visual depictions of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct. Investigators said they found child pornography on his laptop last year. A second charge of possession of child pornography was dismissed by U.S. District Judge Benita Y. Pearson.
Joshua A. Graham, 36, listed with a Canton address, pleaded guilty in March to charges of having child pornography and receipt/distribution of visual depictions of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct.
Graham drew the attention of a federal investigator last year after he downloaded dozens of child pornography images from a file sharing site.
A forensic analysis of Graham’s computer performed by the FBI revealed approximately 3,794 files of child pornography, according to court filings.
U.S. District Court Judge Dan Polster sentenced Graham to eight years and one month in federal prison during a hearing last week in Cleveland.
