  • Local authorities began investigating allegations Scott Studer had videotaped nude boys in the locker room at Jackson High only after federal officials executed a search warrant at his Jackson Township residence Wednesday morning, according to county prosecutors.
“Everything (regarding videotaping) came to light (Wednesday),” said Chryssa Hartnett, assistant county prosecutor. “... What was found at Jackson (High School) was independent of (the federal investigation). (Jackson police) had no knowledge of the camera. This all came out yesterday.”
Authorities, including an inspector with the federal government, used a search warrant to enter Studer’s home at 5141 Pin Oak Drive NW at about 6:15 a.m. Wednesday. They reportedly found images of nude boys inside the locker room at Jackson High, court papers show.
