What is your Business? Phabulous Phils’ Barber-Beauty Shop
How many years have you been around? Since June 4, 2004 and I’ve been a barber since 1992.
Why did you go into it? I always though it would be a good way to make a living. I was a fan of The Andy Griffith Show, and liked when they featured Floyd (the barber) and seeing people kick back (at the shop.)
What makes Phil’s special? The uniqueness of the shop itself. The bleacher seating, sports motiff and service second to none. We give free shampoo and a hot lather neck shave to all adult customers, no extra fee.
Are you married? Yes, to Susan for 7 years.
What are your other hobbies? My “B” job is The Phil and Sparky Show. It’s a show band. I sing, play tenor saxophone and bass. I also raise chickens. I go to the Amish festival and buy them. They can lay a few eggs if they want, but otherwise they get the good life.

What book are you currently reading? “Angela’s Ashes.”
Any place you would like to visit? I have visited Tokyo and Greece recently, but I would like to see Australia for the different animal life.
Something people might not know about me... I’ve been performing since 1974, and I still get stage fright. When it’s not scary, maybe it’ll be time to stop.
