  • A pizza delivery man was behind bars Wednesday morning accused of frightening a customer and making sexual statements to Uniontown police before placing several calls to them.
Andrew S. Mull, 31, of Akron, was arrested at 1:58 a.m. Wednesday by Uniontown police in the 3700 block of Lake Vista Road in Akron, Stark County Jail records said.
Mull delivered a pizza from a Gionino’s Pizza shop where he works to a customer and then called several times, causing the customer to believe he “would cause serious physical harm,” the jail records said.
He is also accused of making several sexual statements to police who called to say he faced charges of telecommunications harassment.
Jail records said he then called police dispatchers seven times, despite being told to stop.
Police ended the string of calls with an arrest.
Mull was jailed on charges of felony disrupting public services and telephone harassment.
He remained in the jail later Wednesday, held in lieu of $52,000 bond pending a hearing in Canton Municipal Court.
