WHAT DOES IT MEAN?  A covered patio is first on the list. The 700-square-foot addition will be heated and enclosed in the winter, open to the air in summer, said owner Larry Owens. Plans also call for more dining area by expanding into a 900-square-foot portion of the building south of the present space. Also, in new construction, the size of the kitchen will be quadrupled, he said.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO KNOW?  Owens expects construction to be done in the spring. “The sooner the better,” he said. The concrete for the patio has been poured, and a new main entrance will be nearby. A portion of the new construction will be for food carryout and a wine room, he said. The main entrance is off the alleyway in the rear of the building because that’s where all the parking is, Owens said.
