Casey Anthony, the Florida mother who was acquitted of killing her 2-year-old daughter Caylee in 2011, has filed for bankruptcy, The Associated Press reports.
See Brad Pitt and other stars who don't look their ageAnthony filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy in Tampa Friday, claiming about $1,000 in assets and $792,000 in debts, according to the AP. Many of the liabilities come from legal fees associated with her trial, as well as taxes and a $145,660 fee she was ordered to pay the Orange County Sheriff's office for misleading police during the investigation into Caylee's murder.
