Mario Bello has exited the Fox drama Touch after just one season, TVLine reports.

Bello, 45, who joined the Kiefer Sutherland series at the end of Season 1, left as the result of a mutual decision between Bello and the show's producers. Bello will appear as a series regular in the show's upcoming second season, which just wrapped shooting and will premiere next month.

It is unknown how Bello's character, a mother named Lucy, will be written out of the show. Before joining Touch, Bello starred on the short-lived U.S. adaptation of Prime Suspect and is also known for her roles in ER and Coyote Ugly.

Touch's new season premieres on Friday, Feb. 8 at 8/7c.
