Ohioans need to venture only as far as their neighborhood libraries to benefit from the approximately $250,000 worth of research donated by the Ohio State Bar Foundation’s recent Fellows Class.
The 44-person class of Ohio attorneys and judges created informational pieces to educate interested persons and pro se litigants - individuals who choose to represent themselves in court- about the legal procedures involved in a civil case. The class created a multi-paged informational brochure, titled “Keys to the Courtroom” and the Courts and Hearing section content for the Ohio Legal Services Web site. Both the brochures and Web site explain basic courtroom procedures, Ohio laws and courtroom rules in an easy-to-understand format. Visit local libraries for the free resources.
