The Stark County Health Department received confirmation of a case of H1N1 (Swine) Flue in a Jackson Township resident.

The resident has been in isolation in accordance with the health department directives and does not pose a threat of spread to the community. The resident is recovering well at home.

At this point this appears to be an isolated case. However, the Stark County Health Department has been monitoring the case and any contact to assure no additional spread of the disease.

Information on H1N1 is available at www.cdc.gov or at www.starkhealth.org.
