State Route 8 in the City of Akron
Monday night, Dec. 7 – Friday morning, Dec. 11
SR 8 at the bridge over North St. and the Little Cuyahoga River, just north of Perkins St., will be reduced to one lane in either or both directions for bridge work. These one lane conditions will occur Monday night, Dec. 7 and will continue through Thursday night, Dec. 10 from 7 p.m. until 6 a.m. During these hours, the entrance ramp from Perkins St. to SR 8 northbound and/or the entrance ramp from Glenwood Ave. to SR 8 southbound will be closed. Detours will be provided. All work is weather dependent.
