JACKSON TWP.  Jackson senior Brooke Parsons signed her letter of intent to play soccer at High Point University, capping a high school career in which she won numerous league, district and regional honors.

As a senior, Parsons was a key part of powering the Polar Bears to the Division I state semifinals, where they were an overtime goal away from a state championship game appearance.

While at Jackson, Parsons was a four-year starter, three-year scoring leader and received honors including First Team All-Federal League, First Team All-Stark County and First Team All-Greater Akron District. Head coach Frank Gagliardi described Parsons as “a tremendous competitor and most dangerous attacking weapon” who will add firepower to High Point’s offense.

Parsons was joined for her signing by her coaches and family. High Point is an NCAA Division I school competing in the Big South Conference.
