MIDVALE Indian Valley ran past Ridgewood 33-14 in an Inter-Valley Conference football game at Kelley Field Friday night.

Caden Hostetler ran for four touchdowns and about 300 yards to lead the Braves. Hostetler and his twin brother Caleb were featured in a Friday Night Ohio video interview earlier in the week.

Indian Valley recovered a fumble on the opening kickoff and scored to lead 7-0 after the first quarter.

Ridgewood scored with a minute to go in the first half, but Indian Valley rebounded to cover 65 yards in 31 seconds to score before halftime.

Coach Matt Lancaster's Braves had tallied 268 yards on the ground by halftime when they led 20-7.

The Braves led 26-14 at the end of three quarters of play and tacked on another score in the final frame as the hosts ran away with the win.

Indian Valley improves to 6-0, while Ridgewood drops to 4-2 as the second half of the high school football season began.

Indian Valley hosts Newcomerstown at Kelley Field in Midvale next Friday.

Tusky Valley knocked off host Newcomerstown 49-0 to send Newcomerstown to 0-6. Tusky Valley improved to 4-2.
