JACKSON TWP.  A championship year for Jackson sports included two state titles at the high school level, but some of the younger players hoping to follow in the steps of Kyle Young, Logan Hill and their teammates turned in a great year as well.

The Ohio Shockers, an AAU team based in Jackson, went 27-0 this season and won all six tournaments they entered. Wins in the Ballers Bash, the Battle, Rising Stars Classic, Massillon Challenge,  Akron Cage Classic and Prime Time Challenge were fueled by several Jackson players, including Caden Bailey, Anthony Fuline, Anthony Craven, Cole Dobina, Jordan Kish, Joe Lattarulo and Cameron Weekley.

They were joined by Green residents Jarrett Taylor and Brady Rollyson and Lake Township resident Chance Casenhiser, along with Hayden Nigro of Louisville. With 11 players on the roster, the team was able to run the table and head coach Chad Bailey noted that the undefeated season was a memorable run for the entire squad.
