JACKSON TWP.  Jackson senior Lauren Hatfield has joined the long list of players from the school’s girl’s golf program to continue her career at the college level, signing her letter of intent to play golf at Walsh University.

The program has been among the school’s most successful over the past decade and has sent multiple competitors on to the next level. Hatfield, who was a part of multiple trips to the state tournament, was a two-year letterwinner for the Polar Bears and earned first-team All-Stark County Honors both as a senior and as a senior.

In her senior season, she was also named second-team Northeast Ohio All-District and second team All-Federal League, along with earning Academic All-Ohio honors.

She was joined by her family and coaches for her signing ceremony, putting a fitting cap on a successful high school golf career.
