Texans RB Arian Foster released a statement Friday after an NFL Network report indicated he would undergo a heart procedure.

"Thank you all for the concern. As of now, I have no complications with my blood pumper. There was a casual conversation with a reporter about my particular condition that turned public," Foster said. "But I have not, nor do I plan to anytime in the near future, have conversations with my doctors about any surgery. I am feeling well and am as exuberant as ever. Love and light to all those concerned!"

Foster missed part of one game this season because of an irregular heartbeat, something he has had since he was a child.

"We're comfortable with where he is," Texans GM Rick Smith told PFW correspondent and Houston Chronicle writer John McClain. "Our medical team continues to monitor it. He missed one-half of a practice and one-half of a game, and our doctors treated him. We always monitor (Foster). He's fine."
