As an Akron resident, I feel the mayor's idea of renting the sewer system is ridiculous. For example look at the situation Pennsylvania has gotten into with the rental of the interstate. Now the company that leases it want to build more toll booths.
That's why I feel that a "no" vote is more than mandatory for such a ridiculous idea.
The mayor's comment was "it would benefit people wanting to go to college."
Not to take away from that, but I feel that you should fix what's broken first - which is all the lower schools that are closing and trying to combine. All the schools that I am talking about are in the red.
I myself hold the Ohio State Lottery at fault for letting our school system crumble. I feel that the whole state of Ohio has the right to sue the lottery system because it was designed to keep this from happening, (school teachers losing jobs, school's closing) just to name a few. It is time to make a stand before we can't.
