Green, Ohio -

The Green Relay For Life held its second annual silent auction with a spaghetti dinner on April 18. We would like to thank the community for coming out and supporting our Relay.

The evening was filled with great food and friendship. The evening would not have been possible without the help from the following people and organizations that helped us make this possible.  Thank you to Father Dave Durkee from Queen of Heaven Church for the use of the Parish Life Center.  We would also like to thank Laura Spray, Maria and Lou Riccitelli, Linda Roversi, Bill and Sue Smith, the employees of Target, Holy Name Society, Doug Cincurak, Pressler’s Meats, Park Honda Acura and Mazda and all the Relay For Life teams that helped out.  We were able to raise close to $3,000.00 for the Relay For Life of Green.

The Relay For Life of Green will be held on June 20-21 at the Green High School parking lot. Please note that Bulldog Blvd. will be closed Thursday June 19 at 12 p.m. and will not reopen until Saturday June 21 at 2 p.m. If you are a cancer survivor or know of a cancer survivor that would like to be a part of our Relay this year, please email us at greenrelay@yahoo.com or call Kelly Seman at 330-899-0916 or Tina Boykin at 330-212-4955.

Again, thank you to all who support our Relay. Together, we will find a cure!
