Former NBA star Dennis Rodman became the highest-profile American to meet North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, sitting with him during a basketball game in Pyongyang, The Associated Press reported. Rodman, several Harlem Globetrotters and people from Vice are in North Korea filming a documentary, and Kim Jong Un, a big fan of the Rodman-era Chicago Bulls, invited the flamboyant star to sit with him. Later the Americans were invited to dine with the North Korean leader. The cordial visit came just weeks after North Korea conducted a nuclear test over the protestations of the U.S. and other countries.
