The North Canton Executive Networking Group (NCENG), a Northeast Ohio networking group dedicated to helping professionals find jobs by providing best-practice guidance, networking opportunities and support, announces an evening networking event Aug. 28 at the 356th Fighter Group Restaurant, 4919 Mount Pleasant Rd N.W., North Canton.
The event runs from 5:30 - 8 p.m. and is a good venue to make connections with other job seekers, employers, and people with information about the local and national job markets.
In addition, NCENG has announced its meeting programs for the next two months:
- July 10 - Becky Tylka, career coach, presents “Integrating Accomplishments, Skills and Characteristics.”
- July 24 - Steve Mileski, resume expert, presents a “Resume-Writing Workshop - Part 1.”
- Aug. 7 - Marshall Karp & Steve Mileski present “Speed Networking” in conjunction with resume reviews by professional career coaches.
- Aug. 21 - Paul DiFranco & Faith Sheaffer-Polen, career management coaches, present “Dialing for Dollars: Making Informational Interviews Count” followed by individual resume reviews.
All meetings are held from 8:30-11 a.m. at Church of the Lakes, www.churchofthelakes.org, 5944 Fulton Drive, (Parking off Brunnerdale Road), Canton, 44718, telephone 330-499-8972.
