Two vehicles collided Wednesday evening at Higbee Avenue and Munson Street NW, sending two people to area hospitals with serious injuries and one with minor injuries, said Township Fire Capt. Mike Peel.
Peel said the crash took place shortly before 7:52 p.m. One of the vehicles was attempting to make a turn onto Munson when the other vehicle crashed into it. When he arrived at the scene, Peel said, two women or girls were in a red vehicle and a man or boy, who had pulled into the parking lot of the nearby GE Capital, was in a white vehicle. Peel said both sustained heavy damage.
Jackson Township, Plain Township and North Canton ambulances responded to the scene.
A township police supervisor could not be reached for more details of the crash.
