Police arrested a Jackson Township man caught trying to burglarize a home on Ninth Street NE, Stark County Jail records said.

Davontey D. Trammell, 19, of 4184 Wales Ave. NW, was arrested at 11:46 a.m. Thursday at Eighth Street and Lincoln Way E on charges of attempted burglary, criminal tools possession and criminal damaging.

Jail records said he was arrested after breaking a window in an attempt to burglarize a home in the 100 block of Ninth Street NE.
