The St. Louis Zoo decided to take down a Halloween decoration after several people complained that the “ghosts” looked like lynched African-Americans. The ghosts were hung from trees and had black faces, which the zoo said makes sense at night, when the faces were lit up. But during the day it looked a bit different.
