Emergency Medicine Physicians (EMP), a physician-owned medical group of more than 800 emergency medicine physicians, has chosen athenahealth to provide cloud-based practice management and patient communications services.
EMP, with headquarters at 4535 Dressler Rd. NW, is one of the largest physician-owned emergency department groups in the country.
“Our nationwide network of emergency physicians has tripled in size over the past decade, making the task of overseeing financial and clinical performance all the more challenging,” said Dominic Bagnoli, EMP chairman and chief executive officer. “Partnering with athenahealth helps ensure that we are managing operations to scale.”
