An 18-year-old Magnolia-area woman who was seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash Monday afternoon was taken Monday to Aultman Hospital.

Amber R. Hall, who lives in the 11600 block of Fourth Street, was driving a Chevrolet Lumina north on state Route 800 (Cleveland Avenue S) near Ridge Road SE when she skidded left of center, according to the Ohio Highway Patrol.

The car entered the southbound path of a Pontiac Bonneville driving by Melissa L. Haney, 45, of the 9900 block of Chestnut Ave. SE, East Sparta, according to troopers.

The Chevrolet was struck on the passenger side, and pushed off the side the highway.

Weather conditions were a factor in Hall losing control, according to Trooper Jim Donohue.

“It was combination of snow and bad roads, slippery,” Donohue said. “At this time no citations will be issued because of her medical condition.”

Haney also was taken to Aultman Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
