The Jackson Community Celebration is underway at North Park, with concessions, games, activities and entertainment scheduled through Saturday night.
Today’s hours are 6 to 11 p.m. Texas Toast will provide entertainment from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. Friday’s hours are 5 to 11 p.m., with a car show scheduled for 5 p.m., a concert by Jimmy and the Soul Blazers at 7:30 p.m., a children’s half-mile fun run at 9:15 p.m. and 5K Night Glow Run/Walk at 9:30 p.m. Registration for the 5K begins at 7:30 p.m. at Jackson High School.
Food, games and children’s rides begin at 1 p.m. Saturday. A 3-on-3 basketball tournament is scheduled for 10 a.m. Kerosene will provide entertainment from 7 to 10 p.m., and a fireworks display is set to blast off at dusk (no rain date).
