On Wednesday, President Barack Obama will travel to Akron and Mansfield where he will discuss his vision of how to grow the economy, create middle-class jobs and pay down the debt.
Obama will speak at 4 p.m. at the John S. Knight Center, 77 East Mill St.
The President will discuss his plan to restore middle-class security by paying down debt while still investing in creating jobs, such as education, energy, innovation and infrastructure, according to press release. The President also will repeat his call for Congress to prevent a scheduled tax increase.
Doors will open at 1:30 p.m. Tickets are required for entry and will be available on a first-come first-serve basis beginning Monday, at the following three locations:
• West Akron OFA Field Office, 1706 West Market St., Akron
• John S. Knight Center, 77 East Mill St., Akron
• Twinsburg OFA Field Office, 7995 Darrow Road, Twinsburg
