A Coventry man is facing assault and child endangering charges after an incident at a township residence.
On Friday, Coventry EMS responded to a residence in Coventry Township for reported burns to an 18-month-old child. The child was transported to Akron Children’s Hospital.
Through an investigation by detectives with the Summit County Sheriff's Office, it was determined that the injuries were caused by water poured onto the child by Dusty Gauder.
Gauder, 27, of Coventry, was charged with felonious assault and endangering children. He was arrested and transported to the Summit County Jail by Deputies.
