A Green area woman sought in the robbery of an elderly woman at a Macedonia supermarket has been arrested.
Kimberly Tromski, 43, was arrested Wednesday when Summit County sheriff’s deputies noticed a vehicle in Northfield Center Township matching the description of the robber’s car, said Inspector William Holland.
Deputies believe she robbed an 82-year-old woman on Aug. 5 at the Giant Eagle in Macedonia, knocking the woman to the ground and injuring her.
Holland said the victim was treated for an injury to her arm after bystanders intervened and helped her fend off her attacker.
Tromski was booked into the Summit County Jail on charges of robbery and felonious assault.
