A Wayne County man accused of killing his parents, then beheading his father, will be returned to Ohio from West Virginia to face charges in the case.
Rodney R. Stutzman appeared Friday in 10th Judicial Circuit Court in Beckley, W. Va. He did not fight extradition to Ohio.
Circuit Court Judge H.L. Kirkpatrick III said Wayne County authorities have 10 calendar days, starting Saturday, to retrieve him from West Virginia.
The 31-year-old Stutzman faces charges of aggravated burglary and two counts of aggravated murder. He was arrested Jan. 13 in Beaver, W. Va.
He is accused in the shooting deaths of his adoptive parents, Mervin Stutzman, 66, and Viola Stutzman, 65, whose bodies were found in their farmhouse in Paint Township just outside Mount Eaton. The home is a mile west of the Stark County border.
