Two Stark County man are facing unrelated federal charges accusing them of having sexually explicit images of children, according to the U.S. Attorney’s office in Cleveland.
Tyler W. Cole, 22, of Perry Township, and David Mariner, 55, of North Canton, have been indicted by a federal grand jury.
Cole’s indictment charges that from April to May last year he knowingly received and distributed numerous computer files with minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct. On June 13, child pornography was found on his desktop computer and a thumb drive, according to the indictment.
The accusation against Mariner accuses him of similar acts from March to May last year. On May 16, child pornography was found on his laptop, according to the indictment.
The cases were investigated by the Canton FBI office.
