A new hotel will be built on Arlington Ridge East near the existing Holiday Inn Express and Hampton Inn. The new building will be constructed on part of the property where the Days Inn once stood. The 80-room, four-story Residence Inn will provide extended-stay accommodations for travelers.

Nichole Baldinger, administrative secretary for the City of Green planning department, said Residence Inn will join Hampton Inn, which will feature 89 rooms following an expansion that is expected to begin soon, and Holiday Inn, which has 91 rooms. Between the three hotels, there will be 299 parking spaces in the lot.

The hotel will be accessed by a driveway to be constructed to the west of the site. It will also serve any future development such as a restaurant.
