The heart of March Madness begins today, as the round of 64 kicks off with a host of games. Google “NCAA tournament schedule” to see today’s schedule of games, which begin at 12:15 p.m. EDT.

Gas update

Gasbuddy.com reports that the average price of gas in the U.S. is $3.663. Last year at this time it was $3.837.

Opening bell

The Dow Jones opened at 14,511.73 after finishing up 55.91 points Wednesday.
