Mitt Romney announced his running mate Saturday for the 2012 presidential elections: representative Paul Ryan from Wisconsin. However, a USA Today/Gallup poll finds 42 percent of Americans see Ryan as a "fair" or "poor" choice while 39 percent think he is an "excellent" or "pretty good" choice.

Gas prices

Today's lowest gas prices are in Arizona at $3.33 a gallon and New Mexico at $3.36 a gallon.
