Happening today: Tonight is Game 5 of the NBA Finals, and the Miami Heat could capture their first championship with LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and co. Miami leads the Oklahoma City Thunder three games to one. The game is at 8 p.m. EDT on ABC.

In the news: A group of factory workers at a Quaker Oats plant in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, claimed the $241 million Powerball prize from the June 13 lottery. Twenty workers will split the winnings.

Opening bell: The Dow Jones opened at 12,824.39, down 12.94‎ points Wednesday.

Researchers with the Ionian Dolphin Project witnessed a rare courtship off the coast of Greece: an octopus had attached itself to a dolphin's "sensitive" area. The dolphin jumped out of the water a few times to shake the octopus loose and swam away unharmed once he succeeded.
