The Akron chapter of Working Women Connection is working with Athena's Home Novelties in Woonsocket, RI to fight breast cancer.

If you lost someone to breast cancer, you can write a message on the bra. Send, or drop off, as many as you like, new or used, to JoAnn's Professional Touch, 499 Portage Lakes Drive, #A, Akron, OH or to Working Women Connection, 927 Main Street, Grafton, OH 44044.

The Akron Chapter of Working Women Connection is hoping to link together more than 169,000 bras for one cause and set a new world record.

For those of you unfamiliar with WWC, they are an organization of professional business women offering a wide variety of products and/or services. Their goal is to bring about public awareness of our organization for two reasons - one to enable the public to support local women in business and. secondly, as a public convenience, the WWC Web site provides a member directory for easy access to finding a product or service.

Again, if you need a product or service, log onto www.workingwomenconnection.com. Support your local women in business.

For information on joining the organization, contact Bonnie Gladish at 440-926-4992 or email bgladish@joinworkingwomen.com.
