Jackson Township police are investigating a fatal motorcycle accident Tuesday night on Dressler Avenue NW.
According to reports, a Canton Township man, 26, was killed when he was thrown from the motorcycle he was riding at a curve in the road.
According to the coroner's office, the man was pronounced dead at the scene at 10:12 p.m. The man’s name was not released pending notification of family.
According to reports, the man was riding the motorcycle south on Dressler Avenue with other motorcycle riders just north of Fulton Drive NW when he was thrown from the motorcycle, suffering fatal head injuries.
A damaged helmet was found at the scene, but it was not known if the man had been wearing it.
