Eagle Ministries is asking for community help to feed those in need.
Sunday, Oct. 7, at 6:30 p.m., at Eagle Ministries Chapel, 830 Rood Drive in Coventry, there will be a concert on the front lawn of the church. Attendees should bring lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy an evening of music. The cost of admission is a canned good from each person who attends.
Then, throughout the week, Eagle Ministries is accepting donations of nonperishable food items. The goal is 2,000 pounds of food. Drop-off times are from 8 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Monetary donations also can be made to help reach the church’s goal of $2,000 to purchase perishable food items. All funds will go directly to the purchase of food for the pantry.
There will be a time of praise and worship Oct. 13 after the food drive is complete.
