    Deputies responded to a call from an air traffic controller at the Akron-Canton Airport. According to the report, a pilot contacted the air tower after observing a green and red laser light on his aircraft. The incident occurred about two miles north of the airport. Deputies were given no further information. The FBI was notified of the incident.

    A 1995 Nissan Sentra valued at $2,200 was reported stolen while parked at a cinema on Interstate Parkway. At the same location someone broke into a truck and took a GPS worth $220.

    A 25-year-old Copley woman was charged with domestic violence. Deputies said she was arguing with her boyfriend at his home on Hi Vue Drive when she threw a large perfume bottle at him, hitting him on the side of the neck. When he picked up the bottle and attempted to leave in his truck, she struck him several more times with her fists, the report said. She was arrested and booked into the Summit County Jail.

    Someone broke into a concrete business on Raber Road and stole numerous tools. Among the items reported missing were two toolboxes, a hand grinder, hammers, and several wrenches and socket sets. In addition, two steel doors were damaged during the break-in.

    A 60-year-old Akron man was arrested for drunken driving and having an open container after he was stopped for a lane crossing violation on S. Main Street.

    An iPod and $24 were taken from a locker at the field house at Green High School on Boettler Road.

    A 24-year-old Canton man was arrested at a S. Arlington Road hotel after deputies found three bags of marijuana in his room. In addition, a firearm was discovered in his car. He was charged with possession of drugs and mishandling of a firearm in a motor vehicle.

    A Raintree Circle woman told deputies that she reviewed a video from her surveillance camera and saw an unknown man entering her car. Nothing was reported missing.

    Two speakers, an amplifier and a car stereo were taken from a detached garage at a home on Koons Road. Total value of the property was unknown.
