A 53-year-old Akron man was pulled over on State Street after four children were observed riding in the bed of his pickup truck. The children ranged in ages from two to 12. The man was charged with four counts of child endangering. In addition, deputies discovered he was driving with a suspended license.
Someone stole the catalytic converters off two company trucks at a business on S. Arlington Road. Also, the chain link fence securing the vehicles was found damaged.
A 27-year-old Kent man was arrested after he was found with cocaine during a traffic stop on W. Waterloo Road. Deputies also discovered he had a warrant for a drug court violation in Akron.
Computer equipment was reported stolen after someone broke into the garage of a Glenmount Avenue business. Total value of the property was unknown.
A 21-year-old Norton man was charged with domestic violence and booked into the Summit County Jail. He is accused of grabbing his girlfriend, spitting in her face and pushing her at a home on Flowerdale Drive.
Someone broke into a home on Manchester Road and stole a large quantity of collectible coins and paper bills. Total value of the property was not known.
