Police were called to investigate a fight in the backyard of a Vanderhoof Road home. An officer observed a man with a lump on his head and a bleeding elbow. He told the officer he had gotten into a fight with another man, who had left before police arrived.

The officer charged the 24-year-old suspect with disorderly conduct. The other suspect, a 24-year-old Akron resident, was charged with the same offense after he turned himself into police a few days later.

A Clinton woman told police that her former boyfriend approached her as she was walking to his home on Cleveland-Massillon Road to pick up some of her things. They started arguing and he began punching her repeatedly in the head. He also threw a rock at her that hit her in the forehead, she said. Paramedics treated the woman at the scene. The 20-year-old suspect was picked up several days later and charged with domestic violence.

A woman on W. Turkeyfoot Lake Road told police on May 1 that her landlord turned off her electricity and water.
