As a parent of two children in the Coventry School System and as a resident of Coventry Township, I am extrememly enthusiastic about our opportunity to have a brand new “state of the art” high school in Coventry Township. This opportunity is based on the state of Ohio offering $11 million to Coventry Schools predicated on our passing of a levy Aug. 7. If our levy passes, we will be able to build a “state of the art” high school where the Erwine Middle School is currently locagted. In addition to a new high school, Coventry will have funds available to make appropriate renovations to the other structures. Please understand that this offer from the state is extrememly rare and as a commununity we must pursue this opportunity by passing the upcoming levy. Certainly our children and generations of children to follow will benefit tremendously with the passing of the levy. In almost all cases, this will also benefit homeowners with the increase in property value. I feel very grateful that we as a community are being presented with this awesome opportunity as kindly ask that we (as a community) focus our efforts and make this dream become reality.
