With its high-end exhibits, accessible expert advice and sophisticated project ideas, hundreds of thousands of visitors are expected to attend the 66th Annual Fifth Third Bank Home & Garden Show Feb. 7-15, at the I-X Center.
During the 2009 event, the largest home and garden show in the country will celebrate “The Romance of France” along with a new title sponsor.
“We’re delighted to align with the Cleveland Home & Garden Show,” said Nancy Huber, Market President for Fifth Third Bank, Northeastern Ohio. “Fifth Third Bank is not only here to help the residents of Northeastern Ohio realize a dream of owning a house, but shares the Show’s goal of assisting them in making their house the perfect home.”
The Home & Garden Show is more than an annual source of inspiration – it’s a destination. Twenty sprawling indoor acres host two walk-through log homes, nearly 30 blooming garden displays, five seminar stages and a Green Pavilion.Plus, live musical entertainment, interior design showcases, daily cooking demonstrations and the latest home improvement products. On average, guests typically spend approximately four to five hours canvassing the various displays found throughout the 800,000-square-foot show.
New for 2009
In addition to a new title sponsor, 2009 brings exciting modifications to the show itself. The Home & Garden Show will debut its new 20,000-square-foot Home Idea Center, which puts everything from interior decorating ideas to outdoor living options together in one convenient locale. This year, a total of 24 designer rooms--the largest interior design display in the Show’s history--will cover every decorating style and budget. The new paint, wallpaper and decorating expo will offer innovative ways to breathe life and excitement into your walls. This year, not one, but two seminar stages dedicated to gardening will host daily lectures. To better address today’s flourishing green movement, the Green Pavilion will be 30 percent larger and feature a unique straw bale house display.
