Eric Thompson, Coventry, has been promoted to senior vice president, loan review manager. Thompson has served in the Loan Review Department at FirstMerit for the past six years and as Department Manager since 2004. Prior to joining FirstMerit, Thompson held positions at the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland and KeyBank. He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science/criminal justice from The University of Akron and masters of business administration from Myers University.

FirstMerit Bank also announces the promotion of Mark Mosley, Clinton, to senior vice president. He will serve as a Client Advisor Manager in FirstMerit’s Private Client Services department. For the past seven years, Mosley was a Vice President in the bank’s Trust division. He has both a bachelor’s degree in business and a juris doctorate in law from The University of Akron, and attended Northwestern University’s Trust School. Mosley and his wife Cameron have two children.
