AFP chapter earns national honors

The Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) North Central Chapter Board was awarded two awards for excellence at the AFP International Conference in San Diego on March 29. They received the Ten Star Chapter Award as a model for all AFP chapters to emulate and the 2007 Highest Precent Member Participation award.
Chapter President Hannah Smith and President-Elect Larry Becker attended the conference and accepted the awards.
"As the AFP North Central Ohio Chapter prepares to celebrate 20 years serving nonprofit professionals in Northeast Ohio, we are honored to be recognized for our local outreach and as a national model. We look forward to promoting philanthropy and growing our service to the communities we serve for years to come," said Smith.
