- The Akron Zoo is hosting Wild Lights from 5 to 9 p.m. Dec. 7-9. The zoo will be decorated with lights and lighted displays. - Vintage Market Days, "Flannel and Frost" will be held at the Summit County Fairgrounds, 800 N. Avenue, Tallmadge, Dec. 7-9. It is a three-day event with a vintage vibe featuring vintage-inspired indoor/outdoor market with original furnishings, consumable yummies, seasonal plantings, a food court and live music. - One million lights illuminate Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens during Deck the Hall, the estate's annual holiday event taking place from 5 to 8 p.m. Dec. 7-9. The Manor House interiors will be decorated to reflect the theme of a Winter Wonderland, and every evening includes a Christmas tree lighting in the Courtyard at 5:30 p.m. with Santa. - Attend "An Evening of Christmas Inspiration" hosted by Robin Swoboda and Christian recording artist Renee Welsch. The concert benefits children in foster care. Admission is one new, unwrapped toy per person at the door, and these items are used to stock the Summit County Children Services (SCCS) Holiday Toy Room. Dec. 8

- The Falls Cancer Club is hosting its annual Cookie Walk from 10 a.m. to noon at Redeemer Christian School gym, 2141 5th St., Cuyahoga Falls. There will be various types of cookies: cutouts, drop, no-bakes, roll and bar; almost any type you can think of and fudge. Choose favorites by the pound. - A concert befitting Cleveland Clinic Akron General’s Muffin’s for Mammograms will be held at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 11-12. The program features Ryan Humbert, Emily Bates and a 12-piece big band. The concert will be held at the Akron Civic Theatre, 182 S. Main St. The show is limited to 150 seats. Dec. 12

- Children ages 3 to 6 and their adult companions are invited to learn about the different animal groups. Program includes a hike and craft. - A special gala will be held starting at 6:30 p.m. at the Western Reserve Playhouse, 3326 Everett Road, Bath. Tickets will include tickets to the show, "The Maids", hors d’oeuvres, desserts, a cast meet and greet, and pre-show holiday and operatic music sung, by the award winning, WRP Artistic Director, Dawn Sniadak-Yamokoksi.
