Dec. 7

- Enjoy watching New York City Ballet guest dancers at the Canton Palace Theatre during the performance of "The Nutcracker" from Dec. 7-9. Visit www.cantonpalacetheatre.org for times and tickets.

- Visit Christmas at the Hollow from 6-9 p.m. Dec. 7 and 8 at the historic and decorated 40-room Manor House at Quail Hollow Park in Hartville. Twenty Christmas trees on display throughout and kids can visit Santa in the library. Wagon rides and a warming fire top off the evening.

- Walsh University will host its Christmas Concert of Sacred Music "Sing, Angels, Kings and Folks: A Celebration of Lessons and Carols" at 7 p.m. The concert will be held in the Gaetano M. - Join Santa and his elf for lunch at 11 a.m. at Spring Hill Historic Home, 1401 Spring Hill Lane NE. Participants will also make a Christmas craft and have some one-on-one time with the big man himself. Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for a child and age 3 and under $5. The menu is pasta with or without sauce and a salad or applesauce, rolls, carrots and Christmas cookies. Children will receive a photo of themselves with Santa and a note in the mail after the event. - The Christmas Extravaganza! at the Lions Lincoln Theatre, 156 Lincoln Way E., Massillon, will be performed on at 7:30 p.m. All seats are reserved and are $15 for the main floor and $10 for the balcony. - The Massillon Rotary Foundation and Mercy Medical Center are partnering to bring free lab and health screenings to the Western Stark County community. The health fair will take place from 7 to 11 a.m. at Mercy Health Center of Massillon, 2935 Lincoln Way W. This event is open to the communities served by the Massillon Rotary Foundation, including residents of Massillon, Beach City, Bethlehem Township, Brewster, Canal Fulton, Jackson Township, Navarre, North Lawrence, Perry Township, Richville, Sugar Creek Township, Tuscarawas Township and Wilmot. - A Chorus for a Cause with Harmony Ringers Presents Christmas is Coming and Festive Christmas Feast starting at 3 p.m. Dec. 9 at Zion United Church of Christ, 415 S. Main St., North Canton. Enjoy holiday music and stay for dinner. Concert tickets are $15 each and dinner tickets are an additional $15 each.

- Join the Canton Christian Women’s Connection for "We wish you a Merry Christmas" luncheon at The Fairways at Arrowhead, 1500 Rogwin Cir. SW, North Canton. Lunch and program takes place at 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and is $13. The Northwest Singers will entertain with some Christmas favorites. The program is free and attendees will be introduced to some of the names, features, and locations of various Windows 10 components.
