Holidays on Wildflower
The amazing Halloween light show, Holidays on Wildflower is back through Oct. 31 with LED tombstones, ghosts, spiders, skeletons, pumpkins, a cat, a witch, two leaping arches, and many more spooky decorations. Don’t miss the LED singing pumpkin face. With all your favorite Halloween songs like Thriller, This is Halloween, The Adams Family, and also current hits like Bruno Mars 24K Magic!! Bring the whole family and tune in to 93.5 and enjoy the show. Don’t forget to bring food for the Akron Canton Regional Food Bank and drop the items in the green collection barrel. Also, cash and checks are welcome to benefit Akron Children’s Hospital. Those seeking the holiday light show will find it at 4781 Wildflower Drive in Green.
The Fall Adopt-A-Thon will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 27 at the Summit County Animal Control Facility, 250 Opportunity Pkwy. Dogs and cats will be made available for adoption for the discounted price of $10 per animal (regularly $94 per dog, $60 per cat). The animals will be fully vetted (blood work, flea treatments, intestinal de-worming, spay/neuter and vaccinations) and ready to be taken home that day. Fall Festival at Fieldcrest
Head on over to Fieldcrest Estate, 1346 Easthill St. NE, in North Canton for the Fall Festival Featuring the GLOW from 5 to 10 p.m. Oct. 26 and 27. The GLOW is a signature event for Fieldcrest Estate and includes thousands of lit jack-o-lanterns, a hayride, maze and much more. Tickets are $5 for children between the ages of 4 and 12 and $10 for those 12 and older and can be purchased online at www.fieldcrestestate.com or at the gate (cash only).
