"Wonder," a 2017, PG-family drama movie about a boy with severe facial differences that had prevented him from attending public school, will be presented at 6 p.m. Oct. 13 on the big screen at Community Vineyard Church (former Loew’s movie theater), 2543 State Road in Cuyahoga Falls. The movie stars Julia Roberts, Owen Wilson and Jacob Trembley.

The movie, snacks, and drinks are free and there will be prizes after the movie.

After being homeschooled for most of his life, Auggie Pullman decides to go to public school in the fifth grade and wears a space helmet to prevent others from seeing his face. He eventually reveals it and is bullied. The heartwarming story is about how students and the community struggle with compassion and acceptance of him.

Movie-goers may dress in costume related to the move if desired.

The church’s Movies with a Message takes place the second Saturday of the month. For more information, check out the church’s website at www.communityvineyard,org or find the church on Facebook. Anyone with questions may call the church at 330-928-5134.
