Deputies seized an ax, two handguns, meth, Fentanyl and packaging materials after a domestic dispute.

GREEN  A boyfriend-girlfriend spat at a local motel left one man pulling out an ax, another brandishing a handgun and a third without the drugs.

Summit County Sheriff's deputies arrested all three men Tuesday at the motel, said Inspector Bill Holland of the Summit County Sheriff's Office.

Initially, a woman was arguing with her boyfriend at the motel in the 1700 block of East Turkeyfoot Lake Road, which is just west of the Uniontown area, Holland said in a news release. The release did not list the nature of the dispute.

The woman reportedly called a friend, identified as a 47-year-old Akron man, to help her leave the motel, the release showed. The friend went to the motel with his friend, Sean Holland, 28, also of Akron. (Sean Holland is not related to Inspector Bill Holland.)

When the woman's friend and Sean Holland arrived, the woman's boyfriend came out of a motel room with an ax, according to the release. He reportedly threatened her friend, who responded by retrieving and brandishing a handgun.

A resulting 911 call drew deputies to the scene but all three men had already fled the scene.

Deputies found the woman's friend and her boyfriend still on the motel property and arrested each on misdemeanor aggravated menacing charges. (The Canton Repository does not typically name misdemeanor crime suspects.)

The deputies found Sean Holland elsewhere on East Turkeyfoot Lake Road with 6 grams of methamphetamine, a gram of suspected Fentanyl, bags used to package the drugs, a scale and another handgun, the news release said.

Sean Holland was jailed on felony charges of drug possession and drug trafficking.
